Change Your World In 52 Days

Nehemiah was cupbearer to the king of Persia, and as such was a trusted advisor. He lived a comfortable life, but once he learned that his home, Jerusalem, was in ruins, he asked the king for permission to return and rebuild the city. With his strong faith, extraordinary leadership skills and God’s grace, Nehemiah was able to rally the citizens to rebuild the city’s wall in just 52 days!

“So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of the month Elul, in fifty-two days. When all our enemies heard of it, and all the nations surrounding us saw it, they lost their confidence; for they recognized that this work had been accomplished with the help of our God” (Nehemiah 6:15-16)

In this six-week series, Change Your World in 52 Days, we go through the first six chapters of the Book of Nehemiah and discuss how God will use our “ordinary selves” for His extraordinary plans. God arms us with great tools to handle the tasks he has set for us, and offers tips to help each of us work well with others, defeat discouragement and strife (lack of harmony) and finish strong.
